Back to the grind

Here we are, Monday yet again.

How's it goin?

I had a pretty decent weekend, except for the fact that I worked Saturday, and it was NUTS. Made the day go by extremely fast. The rest of saturday was spent getting groceries, and getting Tiana from Erik's mom's house. We got them home, bathed and put into clean pajama's, and it was bed time before we knew it.

Sunday we spent in Saint John visiting my mom, nanny, and grampy. It was nice to spend some time with my nanny and grampy, I haven't seen them since August. My nanny made Kallie the most adorable pink sweater, hat and mitts. SHe's just getting teh zipper into the sweater, and we will get it next time we are in town.

We also went and did quite a bit of shopping on Sunday, getting the kids a few much needed outfits. We also found the most adorable halloween costume for Kallie. she's going to be.........drumroll please..........a baby cow. LOL. Its a little jogging suit, thats in cown print, and the hoodie sweater has little ears and horns, and a tail attached to it. On the belly, it says " I'm udderly adorable". If I can somehow figure out how to post pics on this here blog, I'll do that....but as of right now, I have no g*ddamn clue.

We went and picked out 2 really nice pumpkins to carve later in the week, and we also picked up a few groceries, that we just happened to forget in my moms deep freeze. We also hit up the best bakery in the city, and brought home loads of goodies!!!

Later in the afternoon I managed to sneak out for a long walk with Lolita, and we went and got a coffee and just sat uptown in Brunsiwck Square for a bit, talking. We waited for her mom to get off of work ( She's head of housekeeping for the Delta Hotel) and we walked back to Lolita's house and got her bag. We walked down the hill to my moms house, and loaded up teh car for the drive home. We got on the road, and were home just after 7pm, with no deer or moose in sight thank god.

Now, I'm in the process of a million loads of laundry ( so it seems) and I think my carpets need a good vacuuming today. other than that, I don't think I'm going to do much, possibly go to walmart to pick up a few things tonight.
