Of all the lame ......

........call in sick excuses, last night, I had to have heard the best. Seriously, guys, this ones a real winner. Almost right up there with calling in dead.

Last night, I had asked a coworker about a young boy who has been working really good for us for the past few weeks. This kids names Max. He had last week as vacation, as he went home to Cape Breton for a visit. He hasn't been back to work since, and he only booked off 5 days.

So, I make the stupid ass mistake asking where max has been. It is responded to by heavy laughing. Of course, I respond with " what?"

Turns out last friday, he was in a car accident. Well, if you'd call it a car accident. He had a little ity bity fender bender with a friend in his car. No damage done to either car (told you it was small), and obviously no one was hurt.

Seems he is " emotionally traumatized, and needs a week to recover from the horrific near death experience. "

I cannot make this shit up if I tried. Seriously. Ug.

So Yesterday was a hole lotta fun.....Dentist at 9:30 am. I get there, go right in, and I am given enough freezing to numb the entire right side of my face. Some one could have cut off my right ear, and I wouldnt have noticed it. He does the filling, and away I go in about 30 minutes. My dentist rocks, and is gorgeous to boot...I'm sure he thinks I'm fine as hell with the big blue rubber dam thingy stretched across my mouth. Ahh well, probably for the best that I didn't look hot..my husband would have an issue with a Dr. hitting on his wife.

After teh dentist, I had the bright idea to go grocery shopping at my store, with my mouth frozen. Turns out, my boss was working, so when I ducked in for a minute to get my schedule, she jumped on me and asked about the other night with asshole Justine. So, i told her everything, and she was like" yep, just makes it easier for me to dismiss her".

I then hand the ginormous list of cleaning that I was called in to do, and I apoligized for not getting it all done. She quickly read down the list, and she looked at me. Then she goes, " OMG, Nicole, you didn't need to do all of this! There is stuff on here that I wouldn't do! I am so happy I found you, you have been nothing but a god send since you started here!".

Of course, I was all, hehe.....theres no problem, I don't mind doing the extra stuff. The she said to expect a good raise at the end of my probation. EEEEEEEEE! Thats what I wanted to hear.

So off I go, doing my new " on Weight Watchers points plan" grocery shopping, which included a ton of those Thinsations cookies. On the WW points plan, there is only 2 points per pack. Did I tell you this WW points system totally rocks??

I started this on Monday, and I thought it was going to be hell, but it totally wasn't. You can eat normal everyday things, but you weigh them out, or measure them out. Veggies are completely free, meaning they have no point value, so you can eat as much of them as you want, only counting salad dressing, etc. I promised myself I wouldn't peek on the scale until Sept. 9th, cause realistically, I ddin't expect to see a loss until the end of next week, but......the scale was there...and it was calling my name....so I jumped on, for a little peek.

I was completely in shock. I still am. I think I'm going to buy a new scale, just to be sure. Keep in mind, I started MONDAY, as in 4 days ago, like the 27th, Monday.

I'm down..........5lbs!!!!! 5 Fricking glorious lbs!!!Can you believe it? Me neither. I'm completely estactic.

So yesterday, after our fun grocery trip, I went home, had lunch, and crashed on the couch, dead to the work for 2 hours. I really shouldn't have slept, cause I didn't get to bed till 2 this morning, which sucks when you have 2 kids up at 1:30. Why 2 kids when Tiana is normally a once asleep, she isn't heard from until 7 am the next morning??

Cause Lolita is moving up, of course, and we decided to try the kids sharing a room before we put Kallie back into the bedroom with us. And, last night when Kallie woke up hungry, Tiana decided she needed to get up to play with her. It wasn't fun, ya'll.

Up at 7am. gotta clean up after a storm hit my apartment. Work tonight at 5. I wonder if there are any point friendly energy drinks??
