Worked to the bone

So, when I was hired on in the Deli, I was told I would only be recieving about 15 hours a week, 3 shifts or so, so I could still have time to see my kids, no matter how nuts they drive me. Since I started working there a few weeks back, I have only had 1 day off. 1! This week alone I'm totalling 37 hours!

We are so short handed, that we can't even hand out all of the hours that we are allowed to schedule. We need 4 or 5 people, and we need them bad. The problem is, Fredericton is a University/College city. There are 2 Universities, and a few college's. Almost everyone who is applying are highschool students or uni students, and they can't work/ won't work.

Anyone wanna move to Freddy and come work for Sobeys??

Today has been one hell of a rough one. Tiana has been the poster child so far today....she's been very wel behaved, and she's been....QUIET. Which is rare. Kallie, on the other hand, has done nothing but scream like someones poking her with needles. She's a little sick, a little congested. Plus she has tooth number two about to poke through any day.

So on top of trying to make a sick baby stop crying, I have been trying to clean house, do laundry, get a shower, and on top of it all, I had to wash my uniform, cause I got called in to work tonight, on my day off. Meh, money in my pocket! Let my husband deal with a screaming baby all night:)

We got some good news, finally. Since Erik's contract at work was terminated, we have been in a bit of a panic, not because of him not working, we have delt with that before, but because the place we are currently live in is so expensive that we couldn't stay here, plus we have a few bills that need catching up on. But, yesterday, my friend Lolita told me that she would be moving back in with us this weekend to go back to school, which helps me out alot!!! I was so excited to hear that! Now I can breathe easy for a bit, and not be so stressed out about money...who knows, maybe my husband and I can get a few dates in now that we wont be so hard up.
